Help! HOW LOUD?- Shabah Z210
 

Looking for any information on How many decibels a 1998 Shabah Z210 with a Merc 350 Mag MPI Gen plus engine will put out. We are in the middle of an inspection to purchase this boat. However, the small private lake community has a Noise restriction of 80 dba at 50ft. Any information would be greatly apprectiated.

They key factor to remember here is with the Captains Call/Sound Choice system, you can select whether to run the exhaust out of the thru-hulls above the waterline, or to run it out underwater at the outdrive, with just the flick of a switch. Too loud for the local marina? Hit the switch, send the exhaust underwater, and you're just as quiet as any other boat!

Also, the other option is, there are baffles and mufflers available to insert into the thru-hulls to quiet things down a bit! You can find these on performance marine part websites.
