Potential Buyer/Need Opinions: 1995 z202 Shabah $8500

looking at this ad on CL 1995 Mariah z202 shabah

would be my first boat, upgrading from a jet ski. will be primarily used for towing kids in tubes and wakeboarding and wakeskating. planning to install a tower.

any opinions would be very much welcome.

thanks.

He doesn't say how many hours and I'm assuming it's in salt water in SF bay?

good question, will ask how many hours.

it's in the california delta, in discovery bay, so fresh water. i think it's in a hoist in his private dock. he's just about 5 miles away from my house, so will definitely take a look and take a ride :)

thanks for the heads up.

I have a 95 Shabah 202 with 5.7 Mercruiser.

Kids & tubes are all we do. My only regret was not finding & buying one sooner! I hope you find it in good mechanical shape and can close the deal.

sounds pretty good. The vinyl will cost you some to get fixed. If any if it is splitting, it won't be long (1 yr maybe depending on use) before it's trash. Vinyl is available from Gary's Upholstery in Florida in the Colorguard line. You'd have to find someone local to redo it.

thanks for the heads up on the vinyl, there are several locals who can redo it, will have to factor it in the budget :)
