Hey guys, I've recently purchased a 2001 mariah z252. The boat is in excellent condition been garaged and has 378 hrs on it. It came with the original Mariah three ring binder with warranties and owners manuals, including all the color mercruiser and bravo out drive brochures. But my question is, did they offer the mercruiser 6.2L in this boat. Because It is equipped with the 6.2mpi and bravo 3 outdrive. The owners manuals shows every other motor but the 6.2. Although it's hard to find another 2001 z252 to compare it to, the ones I've found which have been a couple years older, have the 7.4 liter mercruiser in them. What year did they start producing the 6.2? I wouldn't think anyone has changed it, it all appears factory and original. Thanks for any info.

Found a little info on the 6.2 mpi The first year it was produced was 2001, I was just curious why they didn't include it in the owners manual.

Probably because Mariah was in the process of closing up shop and weren't investing in any new or updated advertising at that time.
