Wanting new paint on my talari
Hi gang. I haven't posted on here in quite some time. Pretty much finished all the upgrades on my 96 z240 talari and have been enjoying life on the water. I am contemplating a winter project after this years boating season and would like some input from you guys that have done this.
I would like to get a new paint job. It would involve stripping everything such as windshield, railings, interior, etc and having new gel coat sprayed. The old paint is faded to the point that compound and wax won't cut thru the dullness. Previous owner let her sit outside for a long time with no cover and the Texas sun has taken its toll on her finish. Have any of you guys done this? I would be having a pro do the painting after I remove everything myself

As long as you have a few nuts, bolts and screws left over after the job is done, it should work!
