Default 'Mariah's are the best made boat'

I took off the engine hatch cover this weekend and yesterday dropped it off at the upholstery place. The owner couldn't stop talking about the Quality of Mariah. He said there are things they thought of just on the engine hatch cover that others only dreamed of:

* The embossed Mariah logo in fiberglass

* The vents underneath to let the fabric breathe

* The hydraulic mounts

* The brackets on the underside to hold lightpoles

He said what I already knw; 'original Mariah's have higher quality than other boats.'

    I am refinancing my boat. The finance company said I had to have a survey done. The surveyor said he had never seen a Mariah before. When he was done all he could talk about was the quality of Mariahs. Stainless steel tanks, wiring and so on. He was really impressed.

    Hi Mariah Z276,

    You said Stainless Steel tanks, were you referring to the fuel tank? I ask, because I though Mariah stated that their tanks were made from aluminum.

    Thanks,
    WetWilly

    I was talking about fuel, water and sewerage. I thought they were stainless steel but I will look again. The surveyor also said stainless steel. But since you said that I'm not sure.

    Mariah made custom aluminum tanks for fuel & water. They used stainless on all their hardware, like bow & stern rails. Both were made in-house.
