Re: Underwater LED lights in drain plug
My dock neighbor put in one of the ebay 800 lumens blue drain plug lights on his 290 Sundancer. He's got a swim platform, and with the murky water of our marina on Lake Erie, the light just barely creeps out beyond the platform, on the darkest nights, but has a nice glow under it. However, when in clearer waters, like on the islands, it's got much better visibility. Still, for the $40 he paid, it's a pretty cool mod. I'll post a report on it at haulout time, to see how well it held up.
