Right hand manifold warmer than left

So I got the boat out to do the spring start up and change the oil. While running it on the muffs, I noticed the right hand exhaust water was warmer than the left side. I climbed in the boat and put my hand on the exhaust manifold. the left side was definitely cooler than the right but it wasn't like the right one was too hot to touch. the water coming out of the right hand side of the drive did feel a lot warmer and was not cool like the left hand side and looked somewhat murky. It was not oily at all just not clear like the left hand side. should I be concerned?

Uneven manifold temps is usually a sign of blockage in the water ways of the hotter side.
The culprit is usually rust blocking the water channels in the risers.
Could be time for new risers, or at least a good inspection.

Not something you want to leave to faith I'm afraid.
If the risers are starting to block up then you'll cook the exhaust rubbers and end up in a world of pain!

is there a way to clean them out? and it wasn't hot hot just definitely warm while the other was still cold like water straight from the hose... the pipe from the intake also dumps into this side and not the other if that matters.

are they not supposed to get warm at all?

Mercrusier says this is normal due to block water exiting into the right hand exhaust... Just in case anyone else comes looking at this thread...
