Default trimming down problem

used the boat the other week with no problems and left the boat on the mooring for a week with the leg virtually in trailer position.
today the leg started to go down but only a short way. trim back out again and no problem there. back in again and still no progress. Everything sounds ok and oil level topped up.
Tried trimming in whilst standing on the leg with the Misses on the switch and found this helped to get the leg in to around half trim.
Any suggestions what this might be? Motor on the way out? Piston rods? Trim position senders?

cheers fellas.

    quick update.
bought a replacement stainless steel bracket and new solenoids.
all contacts cleaned and oil topped up.
Pump seems to work fine and trimming out no issues. Trimming down is still not working right. Managed to get the leg ½ down by standing on the leg. Motor still runs when you get to this point but naturally changes tone somewhat.
Any one else had this issue?

    cheers fellas.

thought I was going to have to pull the boat out and see if there were any problems with the rams.
Today I decided whilst still on the water i'd try to reverse the up and down hoses at the pump to see if that would help in finding the nature of the fault.
Anyway with hoses reversed the leg trimmed all the way down and then all the way out again!
Put the hoses back to normal and so far all working ok. Not 100% sure what occurred but maybe I had one of the valves stuck and just reversing the action freed it, i'm not sure.
So in conclusion, nice to see everything back to normal but cause of the problem is inconclusive and i'm expecting it to reoccur, some time, some place.!

    Well ,
I'm glad it's working now anyway.
If it were me I'd probably go ahead and flush the system and fill with new oil/fluid.
    Nice trick though.

I had same issue, I had to give it gas and trim down and the power of the motor would push out drive down, while I was trimming down. I park the boat in trailer mode and had build up on rams!!! Cleaned them and replaced seals works perfect. 30 seal kit and a little emrey cloth.
