Default 350 Mag, simple add on power

I would like to try and get a little more power out of my 350 Mag, looking for better performance. Wondering if aftermarket carb would help? I have worked every prop, but feel like its motor not prop.

You have a Weber 9600 series 4bbl now I believe. It is the same carb as the Edelbrock Performer Series 4bbl , and the Carter AFB Series 4bbl. They are good units.(I know my opinion)
Why not get one of Edelbrocks Calibration kits and give it a try?
How much are you willing to spend?
You know the rule.......More Horsepower=Alot More Money

I believe I have a Weber right now, I was wondering about a calibration kit, will that work on my existing carb? Do you think it would be worth while to invest in a new carb? I don't want to go crazy (money) with this, but I would like more power overall from acceleration to top end.

What are you getting for topend speed now?
Mercruiser did a good job with setting up the carbs on these engines. However , there is always room for improvement. When was the last time you did a major tuneup? How many hours are on the engine? How much weight is in the boat usually?
I'd do a complete tuneup , rebuild the carb and calibrate it with edelbrocks kit.(I think it is #1480 for your Mag)
Anything more than that and your going to get into some money fast!
Next would probably be performance exhaust manifolds to get her to breathe a little easier , but there is 800-1000.00 easy just for parts.
