$143 and 10 for shipping sounds like a really good deal... The cam in my 450F cost a lot more than that...

I'd be all over it , but it isn't a roller cam. The rest of my valvetrain is roller setup(lifters , pushrods , roller rockers , etc)

If its a roller cam, yes. Changing from a stock shaft to something aftermarket is probably one of the best and biggest things a person can do to increase performance.
Compression wise 10:1 pistons are doable pretty easy as deck clearances, head gasket thickness, and head combustion chamber volumes are usually all greater than advertised. Another thing to remember is if you put a bigger camshaft in you may have 10:1 but with valve overlap it may have an effective ratio of only 9:1.

I wish Lunati had the VooDoo cams in roller configuration!

Thanks for all the info guys
Decided to shy away from porting the heads and I went with the Edelbrock 3714 cam since I am already running the Edelbrock 2111 intake.

    Edelbrock #350-3714
    Rollin' Thunder Hydraulic Roller Camshaft
    Chevy 4.3L 90° V6
    .479''/.488'' Lift
    272°/276° Adv. Duration
    Idle-5500 RPM Range

Thanks again for all the great info!
I'll post what happens when I get it finished and back in the water come spring.

great choice. But Im with ya...I hate it. It's winter, the time you want to do upgrades and changes, then you gotta wait til spring to test your results.
