Alpha 1 Drive reservoir leak
 

I have a 1994 Z212 Shabah. I have had a slow leak from the drive reservoir that I just had to top off the resi every couple weeks. Now the resi will not hold any gear lube for longer than an hour. There is no leak inside the boat. Seems to be seals inside the drive. There is a little oil in the water everytime I lower the boat off the shore station. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone have the merc service manual for this drive as I am sure I will be replacing seals? I do have a water pump repair kit with seals in it, maybe the seals I need are in this kit?

Welcome to MOC.
Sounds like you have seal issues. Make sure you don't have water in the drive! Ouch!
Water Pump kit won't have the seals you need.. You really need to do a preasure test on the drive ASAP.
Probably looking at reseal of complete drive(do both upper and lower) , no use in doing it twice.
I definately would'nt run it anymore til you find the problem.
