Won't start
I just picked up a1993 mx19 with a 4.3lx the boat has original 67 hours on it has not been started since 2009 and I went to start it today and replaced the battery and it started to turn over and attempted to start then when I tried it again it simply makes a one clunk sound and that's it. So I went and tried to replace the battery again and the same thing one clunk noise and that's it. Any help would be great

Could be the starter motor. It is really hard to know based on the description. It isn't turning over at all? How loud is the clunk? Just as a check I would make sure all the fuses are good. Be sure the fuel is good. Although fuel is not your problem with the clunk it is a good idea not to run old fuel.

Re: Won't start
Make sure the motor isn't locked up. Use a breaker bar and socket on the crank bolt to make sure it turns ok.

Re: Won't start
It wanted to start the first time i tried it, it turned over repeatedly now it make that 1 clunking noise and if i hold the key over it kind of sounds like a squealing noise. the gas is probably real old & needs to be let out. Im really hoping its not hydro locked . i just took it to get serviced did not want to sit there and keep trying to start it.

It could in fact be hydro locked. If it has been sitting that long and you didn't change the gas out before you tried to start it, that was a bad idea. My dad and I did that with his gulf stream two years ago after it had been sitting since 2004. The fuel had gelled and it caused us to replace the tank and rebuild the carb. It was a mess. As far as water in the tank, pull your spark plugs... All of them, and see if it turns over. If there was water in the tank then it would get sucked into the engine pretty quickly because it is heavier than gas and the fuel pickup is at the bottom of the tank.
