Alpha gen II outdrive
 

I am needing to replace the Alpha Gen II outdrive on my 1994 Bruschetta. Anyone have any experience with the aftermarket replacements out there?

SEI and Jasper both have no questions asked three year warranties. They've both been discussed here previously. I've had an SEI Alpha I and, other than being louder than a Merc, it seemed like a nice drive to me.

Thanks for the quick get back. Louder exahust or gear noise? The hook up was like for factory drive? Do you remember how long ago the thread was?

And I love some bruschetta, especially with wine. lol
The gear noise is louder. They whine, but once you get used to it you don't really notice. They are a direct factory replacement. No thread here on it.
