3.0l LX cant figure out what wires are.

can anyone tell me what wires these are for and if they should be hooked up to anything.

Hi pimpadelic, The Mercruiser Manual shows these two wire as open so don't worry about them. I believe they are either for setting the ignition in "Base" mode for setting the timing or for a Mercruiser Tech equipment hook-up. WetWily

You are correct WetWilly, those are the jumper wires for setting the timing
