I have 1997 Shabah z222 With a 454 merc and a Bravo 1 . I put it in the water yesterday and it wouldn't start . When i hooked hose to it , it fired just fine. Now to today with hosed hooked it , it wont start either . It turns over and wants to start but wont. Help

Have you checked the obvious, like kill switch and the throttle is in neutral?
It has happened to me before - very embarrasing.
On my V6 I have a override kill switch, dont know about yours, but if you have one, perhaps that has kicked on?
You could also squirt a little bit of fuel in the carburettor and see if it fires up from that! If it does, you may have a fuel pump issue.
Sorry I cant be much more help, I'm not overly mechanically minded.
