Hello to all

Well i finally took the boat to the shop on Friday to have the drive oil leak tended to before the spring rush. They called today to tell me that the shift link seal? was defective and causing the leak. Hooray!! then i added an oil change and they checked out the plugs and ignition for me these parts were all new when i got her last year. When they took the drive off and were inspecting the bearings and ujoints they noticed that the flapper valves for the exhaust were broken and laying around so they replaced them also.
250 for the repair of the flappers
120 for the oil and filter change
159 for the seal repair, gaskets and fluids

less 15% for early service special

said everything was in very good condition other than what was in need of repair and should be good to go.

Well the Mariah came back from the shop all ready for the season. total bill was around $660 but they were nice enough to give me a 15% discount so the bill was $550. That was to fix the outdrive oil leaks, oil change and service the four seals on the trim pistons. Said she was in excellent condition for her year and ran strong under the tests they performed.. Hoo ray!!!
The lake is free of ice here and soon to be explored again. There were people out this past weekend fishing.

Oil change seems really high... I think I pay $50.00, which I am not complaining about!
