2001 Miriah Z275 Shabah with a 454 Mag MPI Generation VI.

We have been fighting a rough engine problem. Yesterday we could only get about 1000 to 1200 rpm. Over last year and this year we have changed out about everything possible. Last night we replaced the ignition control module in the distributor (again), but it still had the same problem.

Figured out this morning on a test run it was great. Watched everything, checked temps on manifolds, etc. As soon as we closed the hatch to go back to the dock it started doing it again. Opened the hatch and it ran great.

Don't see any interference, but maybe someone else has ran into this before.

Any ideas?

You really need diagnostic software on these MPI engines.
