Re: anti-siphon valve
It SHOULD be the fitting that is screwed into the 90 degree, pick up tube fitting, screwed into the fuel cell. It is a combination barb fitting and anti-siphon.
If you are going to take it out, be prepared for it to break off in the pick up tube fitting. They used some pretty tough sealant when they put it together back at the Mariah plant. IOWs, go ahead and get the pick up tube assembly. If you do get it out without breaking it, you can send the tube back.
ALSO, Teflon tape is NOT gasoline proof. You'll need the tape that is rated for gases. It has the yellow cover instead of blue.
