Question Gimbal bearing, seal, and bellow kit

I have a 2001 Z212 with 5.7 Mercruiser with Alpha One. Wanted to know if anyone could recommend a good kit and where to purchase?

Mercruiser, quicksilver and sierra are all brands I have personally seen and used. Can't say I've seen an issue with either. You should be able to find a kit on eBay or Amazon for really reasonable. Bunch of How To videos on YouTube as well. You'll need a gimbal bearing puller. It's a wise idea to check the bearing and coupler alignment.

If anyone is looking for a good gimbal bearing kit give Mike at Mikes Alphas a call. His kit came complete with heavy duty bearing, bellows, bellows adhesive, shift cable and hinge pin tool. Total cost with shipping $210.00. Mike was very helpful and offered %100 tech support and said he would help me with the entire process of changing gimbal bearing and bellows. His contact info is Mikes Alphas 4391 Cedar Creek Road Linden TN 37096. Phone # (931)589-2352. I will start gimbal bearing and bellow repairs this weekend. Hoping everything goes smoothly.
