the top of my seat is in good shape
but the adjustable part underneath (not "Z" power) is broken, (the slider forward and back)
do you think just that bolt on part is available?
or will I need to "jury rig" something up

it makes the whole thing wobble

Springfield Marine makes the slides / swivels and sells them thru various retail outlets.

Here's the link to their website:

I used a contact there named Kenny Carnahan [email protected] (1-417-725-2667 ext.220.) to get my seat pedestal & base situation sorted out.

Seats and upholstery

Hey guys, I read on one of the forums, forgot which one, but someone suggested a company called "FIBRENEW" www.fibrenew.com. I checked out their website last night and found there was a couple out here in the Phoenix, AZ area. I called them today and a guy came out and gave me an estimate of $250 to repair my captains chair (6" across and 3" wide tear), some fiberglass enforcement on the chair as it has busted, and about 6-10 minor tears on the rest of my upholstery.

So for you guys, like me, who want to save a bit...check them out. Im letting him do the work....Ill let you know how it turns out.

I think it was 'bpfirrman' that found out about Fibrenew and he was very happy with the repair work they did on his seats. Take some before & after pics and let us know what you think. I'm sure there are a number of others hear that would be happy to give them a try if they do good work.
