mind you looking through that list there seems to be a lot of cross over

All the 5.7's seem to be 0F601000 and up

It isn't advisable , but I have done it before. I have also used JB Weld in the intake valley on a crack. I never trusted it , but it is still in the boat running after 4 yrs.

The crack is in the intake valley and where head meets upwith blockim just going to get another one thanks

Good Idea ,
if it is that close to the block deck it more than likely warped the deck also.
