From looking at these very closely in the pics, they're look to be extremely good reproductions. I'd love to see one in person and examine it close-up. If anyone here has bought one, post some high res pics, and if you can post a pic next to an OEM shield that's on your boat, that'd be awesome! I'm sure some members would love to find a lower cost alternative to the "OEM" decals and shields on ebay.

Side by side one can tell a difference. While all the images and borders are identical from what my untrained eye can see, the colors of the globe are quite different. Could that be due to fading in the original? Not sure. The gold is diffidently deeper color in the original but then again so is the plastic coating on the emblem itself. I think that is due to the aging of the original. I will be putting an emblem on the port side of the vessel so no one will be able to tell via side by side (unless I park next to another Mariah with an original emblem!!)

If I take a photo straight forward on the pictures you cannot see the gold because of glare. This was the better way to photo but I can take more if need be.

Is there some kind of discrepancy / glitch around the top and right side edge of the "new" ones? Or maybe it's just the photo?

I can see some more subtle differences, but for the most part, it's a pretty good reproduction, and an affordable alternative for those that don't want to pay $80+ for a pair.

Shabah, They are consistent around the edges. They look just like a factory emblem until you side by side compare. For what they are Id say Im happy with them.
