Mariah dash for sale
Here's an interesting one in ebay motors for a brand new black Mariah dash. I know it's advertised as a 'new' Mariah dash but then the vendor goes on to state that it was part of an inventory purchase of Mariah & Crownline parts. I've sent the vendor an email to see if he can identify what year/model the dash is for & i'll post whatever response (if any) that i get.

Hi Mikey, looking through the brochures, it appears that this style dash was used only on the '91 Diablo. MX19/19S and the MX20/20S. Judging from the the the amount of material below the outer most gauges, I'd say this one was for the MX19 or 20 and not the Diablo. Considering how this part hasn't been manufactured in a long, long time, this is a rare find indeed and a treasure for any of our members having this particular model Mariah, specialty when you consider that plastics weaken over time with exposure to the elements. Good find! I dont know whether the other two dash units the vendor mentions are identical or just similar. It will be interesting to see what he posts up on ebay.
Here was a comment the same vendor made in one of his other auctions... Up for bid here is a New grey dual boat dome light, I think this came out of my Mariah boat parts. This is out of some left over parts I have from buying out Mariah boats and Crownline boats obsolete inventory. I have several gauges, ski locker doors, Mariah boat dashes, some cuddy head doors and so on. I don't have time to list it all but check my other auctions for more items that I did list. For those that are interested it might be worth an email to the vendor to see what he does have. |

I emailed the vendor asking if he had other dash parts and this was his reply:
"I do not have that I am sorry, as of Mariah boat parts I have very little left. I have 3 or 4 dashes and to be honest I do not remember what else, it is all in storage." This is one hell of a rare item, as the original dashes were manufactured by a company called Paramount Plastics in Elkhart IN. They were the original dash manufacturer until Mariah started designing and manufacturing their own in the mid 90's. These are no longer produced by PPI and the molds don't even exist anymore. Let's hope this goes to someone who really needs it! |

And here is the vendors 2nd response to me:
As of the Mariah boat parts I do not have much at all left, I have a few dashes, and some small misc. items. I do have one item that I am not sure if its a arm rest or cooler cover. But it is about 12" long and 4" wide and approx 1" thick. they come in black or white made of plastic, I also have a few of the plastic glove box lids. But other that its pretty much all gone. I know there were a couple of members looking for glove box covers. I'm not sure what the other item is though. |

Hey Guys, Thanks I just bought this dash. I have a 91 Diablo and the dash is the same as the one in my boat. Man what a rare find. Now you folks need to locate the other side for me (ha ha, just kidding). If it wasn’t for this post I would have missed it. Thanks a lot!

Don't worry about Mikey's "finder's fee", he only charges in beer and time on your boat. Then he passes out and finally leaves the women you brought alone. |
