Well hello fellow Mariah lovers...glad to have found you! Of course it wasn't until my '96 Shabah Z252 was violated by a fishing boat that had come off it's mooring shackle during a storm that I began my desperate search for repair. Ugh! But happy it led me here...I love this site!

I realize this is an old thread, and barring diving to the bottom of Lake Mead, what kind of luck in that slim column was discovered if any? I've contacted salvage yards etc. At this point it seems I'll be going the DIY plexiglass route for my right curved windshield - my question there is: I've read quite the discrepancy between types of plexiglass used for marine purposes. Thoughts and/or intel on that subject?

Karin... Try doing a site search here for "Windshield". I know there is about 20 pages of threads but i seem to recall a few either looking for Z250 / 252 glass or having it for sale a while back. Maybe one of those members still has glass that they will sell or can point you to someone who might have glass. I'm not sure i would recommend either acrylic or plexiglass simply due to how easy it is to scratch either of them and that the optics aren't the best but when you are desperate to fix it (as i was) acrylic was better than Plexiglass.
