Try here. Iboats Cover store

It probably won't be a totally custom fit, but it's where many members, including myself have bought covers for our boats. They've got some decent deals.

Yea, me too, I have a mcc z276 I just bought off e-bay and I need a bimini top and a full enclosed camper cover made for it. The only thing I found on line is a company called Boat Covers, Bimini Tops, Custom Boat Covers, Boat Tops. 1-866-626-8377 they have a video on line to show you how to measure your boat for a bimini top. I think it comes complete with poles and hardware? I have not called them yet this morning. Might be helpful info... I live in the Cincinnati area and was just wondering if any one knows of some one that I can take my boat to ,to get a custom cover (fully enclosed camper cover) made for this type of boat ?

Re: 2000 z272 cover

Hi JoeRad, I'm in Cincinnati too, and I live about 5 minutes away from a place that does custom tops. Her name is Lynda Clark, and she's located in the old Walker Marine Barge behind Rivertowne Marina. She's done custom tops for friends of mine, and she actually made the custom camper canvas for garyg's boat (according to the previous owner).

Her Contact Info is:
Lynda Clark Boat Tops and Interiors
4603 Kellogg Ave,
Cincinnati OH 45226
513-623-4819.

Other than that, there's Fisher Griffin in Clifton (expensive), another place down on Kellogg across from the UDF near the wastewater processing plant, and there's a place up in New Richmond that's supposed to be good, if you need me to find out the info, let me know! Also, let me know when you get out on the water this year, I'd love to check out your Z276!

Re: 2000 z272 cover

Chris, thanks for the info on the custom top. I will check that out after the first of the year or at least before boating season starts .lol I got to tell ya man,... I am not computer literate at all. and I have a really hard time finding my way around this site. I would just like to have an in box and a send box. AAAAhhhhh!!! Good thing I know how to work on my own boat. My boat is currently in indoor storage in Brookville IN. I have to replace the whole out drive because of all the corrosion.I found one down in Tx. for $4000 complete, less props. I am going to fly down Sunday and look at it and have it shipped back if it is what I want. I will keep the same 22' pitch props I have . I also have to let all the air out of the trailer tires, then block the boat up and cut off the welded running boards. The boat sits way to high that I have to get my truck way back in the water to launch it. It is a custom made trailer that was not fitted properly. It sits way to high on the trailer. I can lower it by 1'6" and the boat should float off a lot sooner. So I have the trailer, out drive, and get a custom camper/bimini top made before spring time. I will be busy. Did I mention that I have a job as well? But your info will be very helpful and I have made a copy and will get a hold of her after the trailer is more road worthy. Know any thing about the spinning wheel speedometer? When I tested the boat, the wheel turns but does not register any thing on the dash. Where do I get parts? any idea what part I need? Joe Rad

Re: 2000 z272 cover

Sounds like you've got your work cut out! The spinning wheel on the back is not for the speedometer. It's for the "trip gauge", which is the small black square on the dash with the rotating numbers. It's about the most useless thing on the boat. The speedometer pickup is in the outdrive. It's been discussed many times here before, use the orange search box at the top and type in "speedo", you'll find out everything you need to know! Good luck with everything, and keep us updated with the progress. And if you need help figuring out anything, by all means, don't be afraid to post your questions. We're all here to help! :wink_thumbup:
