2000 Z278 on eBay

Just noticed this on eBay. The gel coat looks pretty rough for a 2000 but hard to really tell from the pics.

I saw this too, I think with one of the Meguiars Fiberglass Restoration Kits and some elbow grease, this boat would be really sweet. Especially with a 496 and extremely low hours... And you can't beat the buy it now price of $20k for a 27 footer, looks to have fridge, shorepower, and above all, it's a Mariah!!

I actually thought for a minute about upgrading... But I love mine too much to let her go just yet. :)

Yeah looks like it could be buffed up nice. Interior looks nice and clean. Would've liked to see a picture or two of the engine bay.

Trailer not included, but that's OK I wouldn't want that fugly thing under my Mariah.

They sold it for $16k!!!

ShabahZ280 04-23-2008 03:40 PM

WolfProperties 04-23-2008 04:03 PM

You and me both. :yikes:

ShabahZ280 04-23-2008 05:15 PM

Is it proven that he truly sold it for 16k? I think we might see this one again on ebay...

WolfProperties 04-23-2008 05:16 PM

No, I dont have proof. I emailed the guy a week or so ago asking for more photos and he replied 2 days ago saying he didnt have any.

I see you found my new boat???

Yes, I'm a newbie to the board as I just purchased my first Mariah. The actual ending price was $17,000. I picked it up due to a deadbeat bidder. Well, I'm picking it up I should say. Not looking forward to the 2400-mile road trip!

WolfProperties 04-28-2008 05:02 PM

Welcome and congratulations! I'm still kicking myself for not buying that one :rolling_laugh:

ShabahZ280 04-28-2008 05:18 PM

Thanks! I'll be sure to post some photos of it after I pick it up.

Congratulations on winning the auction! You're definetely the envy of many of our members now, haha. It'll be well worth the drive for that boat.

Welcome to the club!

its funny that this is on here. the guy that bought the boat for 16000 never showed any money. my buddy was going to hit the buy it now for 20 and then it closed and he called the owner who was selling it through his marina and they worked out a deal for 17000 and he is leaving tomorrow morning to get it. he also had to buy a trailer that was a couple hours away from the boat but was built for that boat. the boat will be in omaha by this weekend. the thing doesnt look to rough to me at all, i have a bunch of the pictures in a email that were not posted. i can assure you that the guy who bought it will have the thing looking like new by the time it is all clean, he is a total freak about cleaning and detailing, he does a awesome job at keeping his boats looking flawless at all times. i will post some pictures as soon as he gets it on the water. he had to part with his stingray but i am happy to see him get into a mariah!

Wow, that soooo pisses me off.......
There is no way known we could get such a great boat for that price in Ozy.
If you could you would be easily paying $50,000+ for it.
Congratulations on a fantastic buy, and welcome to the board.
