Pretty clean looking boat. Curious to see what it goes for....

Re: 1999 Shabah 250 red
Very similar to my vessel aside from the brute of a motor 502 and the color. I like it...

Re: 1999 Shabah 250 red
Does have "This vessel is for sale locally and we reserve right to end auction early if a deal is struck".
Not saying it will , but I've seen many items that the price hasn't meet sellers expectation disappear to this auction loophole. Sure is a sweet looking boat though! |

I kinda took that away from the wording. I'm curious to see what comes of it. I watched one in southern California that was a red Z. It went for 28k with half the hours given it looked like it just rolled out of the factory. No vinyl issues or scuffs, etc. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk |
Re: 1999 Shabah 250 red
Only went for 15,200.... I'd say that's a pretty good price...

Re: 1999 Shabah 250 red
Thats what I thought. Funny story though... It has been re-listed:

Re: 1999 Shabah 250 red
You'd be surprised how many boat sales end up this way on ebay. I wouldn't say it's the best place to find a legitimate buyer. Most people bid before they figure out their finances, and usually back out at the last minute. I mean, really, who has $15k in their paypal? Between that and the ever-growing number of overseas scams "i'm from nigeria and i'll wire you 10k more than what it's worth, if you send me the boat plus a percentage of the excess funds back" type things, I'm pretty sure it'll be "sold" and re-listed a few more times before the season starts.
Regardless, if there's anyone on this site who's interested in the boat, take my advice and make the arrangements to look at it in person (or have it professionally surveyed), and insist on a sea trial before signing anything! |

I would pass that advice on to anyone considering buying a boat. I took the 765mi/12hr trip last January to inspect my Shabah 250 then went back in February to pick it up. I inspected it myself and got to see what needed to be done if anything. I managed to get a few thousand off the asking price due to some fixable issues I found. One thing that is digging into my pocket book now is the trailer that came with my boat. See Prestige trailer... |
