2000 z302 for sale in Iowa
I looked at this boat at Mau Marine in Okoboji, IA. Its white and has good gel coat. Interior is in need of a good cleaning. It needs an outdrive and a possible engine overhaul. I passed on it. Would be a good mechanical project. I bought a z302 yesterday. Any how just thought I would pass along cause I know these boats are in high demand and hard to find. Call up and ask for the Matt the sales manager. I just talked to the owner of the boat and he wants to sell asap!
I will be selling my 2000 z272 with 165 hrs on her if anyone is interested. Let me know and I will send you pics or you can call me 913-909-4264. Boat is at Ozarks but I live in KC. Thanks, Jason |

Re: 2000 z302 for sale in Iowa
Its not on the site. They took it off due to mechanical problems. Check maumarine.com and ask for Matt, he is the sales manager. He might just give you the owners name and number.
I bought the z302 listed in Tulsa, OK yesterday. 99 with 155 hrs. Been looking for a 302 for a couple of yrs. Love my 272 but want the mid cabin. Anybody like to buy a nice 272? Low hrs. just serviced. Ill try and get pics up if anybody is interested. Comes with a 2011 Load Rite aluminum double axle trailer. |

Re: 2000 z302 for sale in Iowa
Thanks guys! Its a great boat! Like I said earlier I have been looking or a 302 for a couple of years. These boats where light years ahead of their time! I have had a crush on Mariah boats since 94 when I sold em at LOTO at Wilbus Marine...
I anticipate this being the last boat I buy... |

Re: 2000 z302 for sale in Iowa
I found a rebuilt Bravo 3 for 4k on eBay. You could probably rebuild the current one for same price if its rebuildable for same money. If block is good and just needs rebuild probably anywhere from 5-10k depending on what you did to it. Readers digest version 10-15k. That's just from my own research. Price could vary from your research.

Probably a few g's in upholstery as well. Typically speaking, if someone lets one area go, they let all areas go. Sounds like it'll cost more than it's worth to put it back together plus the time and hassle of doing such a thing.

Re: 2000 z302 for sale in Iowa
Hi All!
I know this is a dead thread, but I purchased this boat over the weekend. Took it out yesterday on the Mississippi river and ran it for a solid three hours. Highest speed reached was 52MPH, until it knocked my sunglasses loose. LOL.... Ran very very well, and maintained temps. Oil pressure good, and seemed to run fine. Would love to know more info if anyone has it, because after looking for a Z302 for four years and finally getting one, I am thrilled to have it. I will spend the money to make it perfect. We just did a full detail, and cleaned every crack, crevice, nook, and cranny and every piece of carpet it has. Showroom new, and it sparkles!! If you all have any details good or bad about this boat please share. I would like to learn its history so that I know what steps to take to continue its restoration until it's perfect. I finally got the boat I always wanted so, for me, Ill spend the money. Richard "It's great to be back!!!" |
Re: 2000 z302 for sale in Iowa
What motor? I have the 502 and run that fast too! I love the boat!

Re: 2000 z302 for sale in Iowa
Its a 454 Magnum 385 HP at the Prop.
I cant tell, for sure but the drive looks new, and the lower unit is slightly older. Runs well, Hit 50, but could go faster when I learn the trim tabs a bit better. quick boat for sure, especially for its size. Richard |
