Ultra Rare 1993 "The Mick" Mariah Z2000 up for Auction

Here's a chance to own a legendary piece of history. This is one of three boats that were custom made for Mickey Mantle, one of Jimmy Fulks's closest friends.

This boat is a 1993 Z2000 equipped with a 350 Mag and super sport seat layout. Hull colors are Ivory, Polo & Ash. The boat looks to be in immaculate shape after it's recent detailing job. This boat was owned by a member here (usawebcat), who sadly passed away recently. His daughter and brother are handling the estate, and contacted me for information regarding this boat. I have verified this was custom built for Mickey according to the factory build sheets. (see attached).

The boat is being put up for auction on June 9th, 2013 at 10:30AM by Gallery 63 in Atlanta Georgia. Yes, this is the Gallery 63 auction company featured on the Discovery Channel's "Auction Kings". Unfortunately the show has been cancelled so this won't appear on TV, but you can still participate by attending the auction in person, or if you're interested in bidding by phone, you can visit: Gallery63.net for more information.

Attached are the photos I received. Also below is a link to the previous owner's posting on our forum.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and I can try to relay them to the seller, or you can contact Gallery 63 @ (404) 252-2555.

This was the boat that 'usawebcat' had up for sale last year wasn't it?

Yes, this was usawebcat's boat. His daughter is the one who contacted me.

Wow very cool piece of Mariah history! I would love to have seen this episode, it is too bad it was cancelled.

I'm uswebcat's daughter. My dad was so excited about the boat before his passing. The boat is in great shape for its age.

I remember reading some of his posts and he did take pride in that boat. I'm sorry to hear about his passing though. With the recent detailing work you should do well at auction.

What was the out come on this boat? Do we know where it's gone?

I spoke with usawebcat's daughter shortly after the auction. It did sell, for much less than it was worth. $7500. After the auction house commission, they made just slightly over what their reserve price was set at. Hopefully it went to someone who can appreciate this true piece of history.

A very specialised piece of history though!
like a lot of thing in this day and age it's only worth the money to someone who wants it and knows what it is.
To everyone else it's just a boat! and an old one at that...
I really hope it pops up here soon.
