Sad Day

So divorces can and probably will always get messy. So far, mines going "ok" relative to my situation. On that note, I have to sell the boat, per the request of the attorneys... So here is the link to her, if your interested we can work it out in terms of shipping... Once the funds have cleared of course. I WILL HAVE ANOTHER ONE, probably right after everything is said and done. Might go with the older ones, like a Shabah or something like it.

Pretty good payday. Bought for 16k and sell for 20k after 3 months and its wintertime to boot! Wanna sell my boat for me too?

Knowing someone will want to cut out a 1k or more at least I figure you can always come down but never go up on price. Like I said in the post I am negotiable, to a point. I don't wanna sell it either, so if I can not get someone to bite at my bottom line I can just say "I can't sell it due too the market;)". So yeah, kinda high and in the wrong season, but on the bright side I have had 3 people come look at it already and a multitude of phone calls and emails. So interest, even in the "cold" months around here is pretty darn good. We will see what happens, right? :wink_thumbup:

As a husband to an Attorney, I see a few things here.

If he got a "smoking" deal in the first place, the soon to be EX wants her cut of the equity.

Placing the price at the high end of the market scale, it might cause a "no sale" environment and he gets to keep the boat until it does sale (win for him and she waits til whenever)

The supposed equity might be traded thru some other item they own that he really doesnt care about. He keeps the boat (win), gives her something he doesnt want (win) and rather it sells now, or in the near future (for his asking price) he make a bit of profit (win).

DING, DING, DING!!! And the winner iiiissss Oregon. I don't really want sell her but, if I do, I get enough to restart onto another "project". Which is fine by me either way. So, it's really win/win for not only me but her too. If I don't sell then she keeps her motorcycle and I get the boat. If I do sell it, she has to sell the bike and I get half of the boats profit to go buy me a a bike... or boat, well at least try and finance one. Although, I will probably need a co-singer after all, this gonna hurt the ol' credit score:mad:

Send me some good pics and how much you want for it and I'll try. If it sells, I get a small finders fee. ;)
