Default 2001 Z302 for sale

Hello there fellow Mariah Owners. As only a Mariah owner would appreciate the uniqueness of the Z302 and the quality and workmanship put into this vessel, I thought I would let you know that I am selling my beloved 2001 Mariah Z302. As you all know, these boats are hard to come by. Especially in the condition that this one is. It has the Merc 496, Bravo 3 combo with Trim tabs and Captains Call exhaust. A new outdrive and transom assembly was installed in June with warranty until June of 2012. Also a brand new signature 4x4 (four blade by four blade) counter rotating prop. All new covers, tops and carpets as well as new upholstery on the rear bench (done professionally so the work is excellent). Also a brand new Lowrance HD5 GPS/Fishfinder just installed. The trailer has new polished aluminum rims and tires. I just spent $3,000 on an awesome Alpine marine stereo with twin 10" subwoofers. I could go on and on but as far as I can see, there is not an equivalent Z302 out there for sale. My price is very reasonable at $39,900.00. I hate to sell it but with my growing family we must go bigger. The only choice I have that will give me anywhere close to the quality of the Mariah is a Cobalt (looking at the 343). I have pictures from every angle of this boat. Just reply with your email address and I will forward them to you.

Can arrange for delivery if need be. Thanks!

did you sell your 302, i have kids and grand kids, how did this boat handle the crew, i have a 2001 jubilee 245...love it but i would like a mid cabin, i never looked at the 302 when i bought the 245, what are your thoughts if you had 8 -10 people on the 302 all the time, and camping with the 302 how did that work out...i think it looks like the boat i would like, but would want more input , what did you not like about it? We are empty nesters now , but the kids love to boat.. any coaching would be helpful

    thx,

I can tell you first hand that the 302 is an excellent boat for 8-10 peps. Our is a family of 4 and we regularly boat with another family of the same size. You know kids, and mine are no different. They like an audience, so we typically have 2-4 more friends with us at the same time. My 14 yr old daughter doesn't really care for 4-6 (9yr old boys) in the bow with her, but she toughs it out.

Now I will say that at times (usually when food is being served) they all want to be at the stearn, it gets a lil crowded. But im pretty good at crowd and flow control and keep the line a moving.

We pull 2 HUGE (7 kids total) towables on a regular basis for zero issues (we have the std 454 MPI - 330 hp).

This past weekend we took the boat from Portland to Astoria (110 miles) with 8 people. What a trip. Girls took a nap, boys did a lil fishing and us parents enjoyed a 4 hour cruise thru some of Oregon's most remarkable scenery.

I will say this though. It is a BIG boat. It's big around the dock (and the B3 really helps). It's big on the trailer (parking, storing, maneuvering in narrow streets), but it doesn't feel big in the water and that's what I love about it the most.
