That's been on eBay a number of times. Looks like a really nice boat, one of my favorites. But I think his price is just a little high.

I have been looking all over the place lately and his price is in line with most others I have seen. Most 27' -30' Mariahs are selling for 32k-45k depending on conditions and hours. I found a 99 z302 with an asking price of 47k, only 50 hours and have seen the z252 cuddy's going for 35K. It is yet to be seen if any of these will actually sell though.

That guy on ebay wants 35k and you thought it was a bit high? Is it that much different of a boat than the one I'm looking at?

I'm not sure what the hours are or the equipment is on the boat you're considering. The one on eBay looks to have most (if not all) options and only 154 hours. But it's also 9 years old and needs a good cleaning (no offense to this guy, but I'd be sure to clean those areas where the seats fold out before taking a picture of the nice storage areas!!). I personally use NADA as a good guide, but never as the Bible. One reason - the bank will only loan what NADA says it's worth. For another reason - If paying more than NADA, I wouldn't "feel" like I got a good deal and it would bother me the rest of the time I owned it or went to sell it.

Like I said, this is possibly my favorite Mariah out there, and I'd be all over it - but only if it were a 2001 with even less hours and the same price!

If you "feel" good about the purchase... buy it! I can't tell someone how to feel or justify a certain price. That's too subjective. It's just my opinion that this particular one is slightly high on price.
