My 1992 Mariah 2000 ZC

I purchased my 1992 Mariah 2000 ZC in Sept. 2014 from a gentlemen that hardly had used it. The original engine has only 179 hours on it and boat is in really good condition. I am happy to be a member of Mariah Forum and look forward to communicate with members as time allows. :-)

Does anyone know what the standard size stereo speakers were installed in the 1992 2000 ZC Miriah? I have the old ones but not sure how to measure the width to put in exact speaker size. Thanks

There's two ways to figure it out. First way is to remove the screws in the speaker, unmount, and pull it out. The brand and model number will usually be listed on the back. If no size is listed, a quick google search on the brand & model number will get you the measurements. The second way to find out the size is that you can measure the diameter of the outer speaker grille and get the size pretty close to what you need. If I had to make a guess, I'd say 5.25" speakers are what you have, it seemed to be a somewhat standard size. But double-check for yourself before purchasing.

Thanks for the information, very helpful. I will check all that you said and I am sure now to get the correct size speaker now. :-)
