New to me Mariah Shabah Z255 1996 long time member now owner.
 

Hi all. I have been a member of this forum ever since I started looking for a used boat. I finally pulled the trigger on this 1996 Shabah Z255 a/7.4 ltr 300hp motor. I love the boat and everything works. I have all the original manuals and paperwork that came with boat as it's a one owner and bought off showroom floor I. 1996 and a boat show.

Do have one question tho. I am having troubles starting as it seems to flood very easy. It is a non fuel injected motor

Most likely the main jet, or a sticking float in the carb.
Has the boat been stood for a while?
A good carb service will probably cure your problem :wink_thumbup:

I believe the owner took it out of storage in June and it was prolly only in water twice the whole summer till I bought it. Will have service look at it while winterizing. I know he said the gas that's in it was from last year during test ride.

hey buddy,
shes beautiful. i picked mine up a few weeks ago. a 96 z255 shabah limited edition Ruby Red. gotta build the motor and fix the wiring. maybe one week end I'll see you out on the water.
