My name is Helen Shrewsbery and I bought a 2004 18 ft. Mariah inboard/outboard Boat.
The blower motor make a shrill noise when turned on. What can I do to stop the problem
and where is the blower motor located? Can't find it!!

hi Helen. First off welcome aboard! As for the issue with your blower motor, it is located behind the engine. Looking back there you should see a 3" or 4" diameter flexible tube attached to it. One end sucks the bad air out of the engine bilge and the other end directs it to the vents on the stern of your boat. Unfortunately if its making noise like that it's likely time to replace it.
