Default Inline Fuse Size

I've been renovating my 2000 Z302 BR after many years of reliable service...GREAT BOAT!!! I have 4 inline fuses at the battery switch and want to confirm the correct fuse amperage, couldn't locate that info in my manuals. According to the wiring diagram in my owners manual: the 10G red is for the fuse block, had a 20A fuse in it, seems kinda low, thinking at least a 30A; the 12G red is for the hatch, also had a 20A fuse, that seems reasonable; the orange/white is for the clock, had a 10A, seems high; the brown/white is for the bilge, couldn't read that one, too much corrosion, the bilge pump says no more than a 15A so I was going to go with that. Would appreciate any help...

30A for a 10 AWG wire is safe, you could go as high as a 40A fuse. 20A for a 12 AWG wire is safe, you could go as high as a 25A. You didn't mention the gage of the clock and bilge pump wires. If I recall, I beleive they are 16 AWG. The appropriate fuse size for a 16AWG is is up to a 15A, so the 10A for your clock is safe. For future reference you can use one of the many tables/guides, here is one from Blue Sea Systems, they are well respected in the industry .http://assets.bluesea.com/files/reso...ence/20010.pdf
