Mariah hunting

Greetings from Lake of Bays, Muskoka, Ontrio. Happy to have found this site/forum. I am off to look at a '98 Talari 209 bow rider. It does not apparently have all it's canvas but looks clean and maintained with 525 hours use. Can you turn those off or back like an auto speedometer? Just crossed my mind.
Very difficult to get an idea of value on this boat as anything I can find is all in US dollars. $Canadian is probably $0.88 currently Any thoughts on what afair price might be as my initial thoughts are it might be priced a bit high.

Its easy to play with the hour meter simply by removing one of the wiring connections. If you want to confirm it, i 'think' that engine can be hooked up to a scan unit which can read the hours on it.

You didn't say what the boat was listed for so i can't comment on the price....but yes, our prices for boats across the border are a bit higher even when you dont factor in the exchange rate. Is this the boat up in Bracebridge ? I'm seeing no trailer and you say its missing canvas? I'm thinking they will have to drop that price a bit....

Take a minute or two to read thru our STICKY on Buying a Used Mariah.
