My new Mariah!

Just picked up my boat over the weekend! It was a bit more beat up then i had hoped.... Diamond in the rough... Its a 1996 180 Shabah. 4.3 lx. All black... Limited. Really neat lookin boat. Anyhow. Im new and wondering if yall can point me in the direction of parts and stuff... Anyone with parts for sale etc. Thanks

Welcome aboard Tim. I think that y'all can have a look in our Marketplace. There is a STICKY at the top of that forum that lists out original parts vendors and then numerous individuals have also offered parts for sale in that section.

Your other options are eBay, Craigslist and eBay vendor GreatLakesSkipper who tends to carry a number of original Mariah and Mariah compatible parts.

Also.. While im typing... Do you know the rpm range i should be running at etc...? Ie. can you run wot and if so howmany rpm should that equal...

The WOT RPM range for the 4.3 is 4400 - 4800 so the closer to 4800 the better for performance. Top speed depends on what pitch prop you have but you should be in the 45 - 50 mph range. Mine cruises very nicely right around 3400 rpm. Running at top speed constantly is hard on the engine & consumes a lot of fuel.
