Default 1995 Shabah Z202

Hello Mariah Community!

My wife and I purchased a 1995 Shabah Z202. The boat is in really good shape with only about 400 hrs total on it. We do however need to do a few modifications to it to get it to fit our family just right. Has anyone on here ever "filled in" the rest of the bow seating area? ie made the bow seating area one big seat?
A few other things that we might need some help/info on is most of our interior lighting covers are broken or cracked. is there anywhere to buy new oem bulb covers? Also the LED computer also does not work. is that something that is fixable?

Thanks to who ever might be able to help out!
Jeff

    Welcome to MOC!
Are you looking for something like this for your bow seating?
I'd fab something up out of Starboard , and have a upholstery shop cover it for you.
Just need a type of "rail system" to hold it in place as long as you aren't shy about a few extra holes in your new Mariah.
As for the MarkVIII LED display , check fuses/wiring first.
If not , maybe one of the other owners with the system can guide you to a repair shop that will work on them.
Courtesy Light covers might be hard to find alone.
Hoosier Van & Truck of Elkhart IN had them at one time. Might try them @ 574-262-2600.

    Once again , Welcome!

Welcome aboard Jeff. It will take a little searching to find the exact covers for your interior lights. Try GreatLakesSkipper, eBay, iBoats.com or even our own Marketplace to see if anyone has some for sale. Most members though are converting their interior lights over to LED's because of the lower battery draw and cooler running.

If i recall there has been a couple of members who have made up a centre fill for the bow. It should take just a little ingenuity and some upholstery work.

The LED computer may be more of an issue. We did have a member here who could repair them but he hasn't been online in quite a while. We do have a manual for them though that is available to contributing members. Click here to read more about becoming a contributing member.

Thanks a lot guys! I kinda figured the lights would be hard one to find and was thinking about converting to led as well. And yes that now seat in the picture is exactly what we are looking to do. I was thinking maybe some teak wood strips for the "rail system" but there's no other wood in the boat so wasn't sure what that would look like when the insert was not in place.
    Again thanks a lot guys.

Use King Starboard for your strips and the panel Jeff.
    It's awesome stuff.
Can you post a pic of your light lenses to verify the style? I might be able to help you out , if you want to go that route.
