Can we add a sky pole to where the table goes into the deck of my boat to help with wake boarding

Ugggh..... someone fitted that pole to a Bayliner. ;)

I wouldn't put it in the table mount hole. I made my own pylon and put a T at the bottom, wrapped it in rubber and strapped it down tight against the dog house when in use. I always kept a close eye on it but it never moved much. I don't know how the table mount area is reinforced so personally I wouldn't want all the downward pressure in one little spot.
