Try searching for an Ebbtide 2600 or 2700. It's almost exactly like the Z275. I was looking for years with the same issue of owners thinking its worth much more than it is, but found a much newer Ebbtide for about the same price that I love!

As a Mariah owner I think that although as a bunch we are very brand loyal, we also appreciate quality in other brands.

Agreed... I've remained brand loyal since my first Mariah in 2006, but I do appreciate the quality in all boats.

However you'll never get me to say anything bearing the name of Bayl**** is a quality boat (at least below 36ft). The only exception would be their motoryacht line, which they discontinued in 2002 (and later became the Meridian yacht line)

Mariahs, Ebbtides Nordics, and the Sunsation 288 are pretty much the only mid-cabin open bow designs that I know, with the most affordable ones being Mariah and Ebbtide. Some manufacturers are integrating a small cuddy below the open bow & cockpit area, but you'll have to be looking at the newer 2013-2014 model years, which means big bucks!
