Don't be put off by the bigger guys, that's a great boat you have there

I use mine all the time in coastal waters, for an 18' boat it can handle the chop really well.
The Diablo is a blank canvas, You can add your own personal touches too and make your own.

mikeyt and mashymariah like this.

Enjoyed the video Andy, that's good to hear about
The coastal waters also, we stayed at a condo in orange
Beach this summer, and across the street they offered boat
Storage with a slip. I'm really considering hauling the boat down
The next time we go. It's connected to the bay, I guess you'd
Call it that, but only a few miles down it filters into the gulf of Mexico
Alot Of sandbars and folks hangin out, looks lina a good time! Can you
tell me if you'd Reccomend me taking it into the gulf, or should I stay in the
    Bay? TIA.

Only you can answer that i'm affaid.
on a good day you're only limited by fuel range.
just remember to never get out of your comfort zone!
I don't know the sea state or weather over there so can't offer any advice other than stay in coastal waters. And be mindful of the weather.

Make sure everyone on board has life jackets and you have a way to communicate other than a cell phone (VHF Radio) buddying up is always a good move out on coastal waters as well

I completely understand, weather conditions play a
Huge role, and overall comfort. I think we'll try the bay
First and get the feel of the waves and watch every other
boat and see how they're goin about it. I appreciate man.

Spend a few hours out in her, then i'l tell you how to set her up.
There are a couple of things you can do to improve the ride like smart tabs and prop choice,
but best you get to know the boat first and then you'll enjoy the improvements more as you make them

Sounds like a good plan to me. My prop is on it's last leg
So I'll probly have to replace this spring. I'm currently using a 14.5 x 17 pitch aluminum 3 blade
Also I lost my anode tab above my prop, sometime during my last
trip out this summer, I guess I failed to check bolt and it just felt, or I knocked it off. But I'd appreciate
all the advice you'd have. Later
