first post , thank you, Boat seats
Hi, Markiemarc here. Want to thank everyone involved in all the useful info about the boat we all love and care for. I have many boats in the running of my summer camp and for pleasure and nothing beats the beauty and function of my 1995 Mariah 20 foot talari Z. 63MPH top speed still after all these years- I had the factory custom install Captains Call for me so that is with the PIPES OPEN (an extra 4 MPH) and I know we all must still covet the custom looking detailed interior that propably ALL caught our eyes when choosing these boats- I have to report that I don't believe I have had more than a single repair in my boat all these years. The Roto -Mold pilot and passenger seats crack at the place where the backrest and seat angle together- and I am very hard on it and I weigh in at 220 lbs. The rear headrest has come off twice in nearly 20 years but that is about it.
Again thank you to all enthusiasts who have probably helped so many. Anyone know who actually made these custom roto molded seats. Or have seen any for sale anywhere? |

Welcome to the board MarkieMarc. Unfortunately repair is your only option. Mariah made all their seats in-house. The molds are long gone, and the chances of finding a replacement are incredibly slim. Any custom fiberglass shop should be able to structurally reinforce the seat back damage you have.

Welcome aboard Marc. As Chris noted, finding a used one is very difficult but every great once in a while they will show up on eBay, Craigslist or even our own Marketplace. Usually you are far better off getting the fglass repaired as Chris suggested.
