Removing swivel base

1 Attachment(s)
Hi.

I have a Mariah Diablo, and I need to remove my fuel tank to clean it out, but to do so, I need to remove the seats and carpet to get to the tank. I can't figure out how to remove the base of the swivel seats/chairs. I removed the posts by removing the screws, but not the based onto which the posts were screwed on.

Thanks

Not real familiar with the newer Diablos but...........I'm pretty sure you cannot just remove the fuel tank. At least not without cutting the floor out.
Hopefully one of the SeaFox Mariah owners will chime in with better news for ya. :)

BTW...........Welcome to MOC!!

Thanks. The fuel tank is easy to get to. There's a floor board that is screwed and I can unscrew about 90% of it, and lift it up. The problem is there's about 10 inches of that board that goes under the seat base.

Wouldn't it be easier to add your fuel tank flush then disconnect the fuel filler line at the tank and siphon everything out? Removing the floor and the fuel tank is a major job.
