Default Need help on purchasing a used Mariah
Looking to purchase our first boat. Have found a 1997 Mariah Shabah Z 198 R with about 250 hours, 5.7 Liter. Looked at NADA and found the recommended price at half what is being asked. Can anyone help us in figuring out a fair price? It is a special edition in excellent condition.

    Pricing out original Mariahs & using NADA can sometimes be very difficult. Searching the 'net for a Z198 and our own site is usually the best way to get an idea what they are actually selling for. I did find one for sale here.

    That said, a couple of years ago we had a similar discussion about a Z198LE for sale here. Oddly that model was only sold for one year & it then became a 202 in 1998.
