Hello all,

This is my first post as one of the newest members of the group. I bought my 1998 221 with 5.0L efi and gen II Alpha one drive in September, 2012. First boat I ever owned besides 10' Jon boat and kayaks. So far so good. I have a heck of a lot to learn though. Figure I'll do some forum searching per Wetwilly's post before I ask any questions.

    Great to have another Mariah owner at the club. The members here are a great bunch of friendly and helpful fellow Mariah owners.
    Look around by all means , but don't be shy about asking questions. We all love talking about our boats.

    Thanks Mikeyt,

    The boat comparison is like the comparison between where I have used them, a 50 acre local lake to the upper chesapeake! There's definitely a learning curve I am going through here...
