Welcome aboard Annie. What are you trying to do with the fuel tank? Replace it? Or is it the fuel tank sender unit that requires work? Removing/replacing the fuel tank requires removal of the floor. Access to the fuel sender unit is just in front of the engine under a small flap in the flooring cover. Follow the fuel filler line down to the tank & it should be visible.

Welcome to MOC annie! :)
As mikey stated there is a hatch , maybe 10"x28" just in front of your engine hatch or under your rear seat if it had the sport seats. Mine has a aluminum angle running down the edges.

What I am trying to do is remove water from a full gas tank.If I can access thru the sender unit hole I may be able to get the water out.

Sounds like you got the right approach. You can siphon a lot but your going to still have fuel/water in the tank. Use a suction pump to remove the remaining fluid. Then use Seafoam or another additive to your "fresh" fuel. Change out the filter run it for a couple tanks then change the filter again.
There is still going to be "bad" fuel but the seafoam or other additive of your choice should cover it.
Bad fuel is a pain in the butt , and you need to have patience. It will work thru as long as it hasn't sit for to long.

Its doable thru the fuel sender unit access hole. Just tip the boat up so that the fuel moves to the back of the tank once u get the level down a bit. And Larry's got the rest of it covered. ;)
