New owner - 2003 SX18 - Low time. What might it need?

Acquired a showroom like 2003 SX18 with 150 hours on it.

So, it's 9 years old with low time and garage kept. Winter/Summerized every year.

Question - Is there anything that I should start keeping an eye out for?

Will post some pics when I get it in the water.

Thanks
Dave

Welcome aboard Dave. Maintenance records provided to you? First thing i would check is when the last time that impeller in the outdrive was changed. If they cant remember or the records dont show it, it needs to be done.

Hi Mikey,

Thanks for the hearty welcome, I'm glad to be aboard.

I was provided the maintenance records. It was winterized, summerized professionally and garage kept. I found one receipt that showed a valve-job was done, which was very surprising for a low-time engine. The throttle is a bit boggy between 2000-2100 unless you take it very slow through that range. I plan to ask a mechanic about that. Aside from that, they seem to have fixed everything that came up.

I'm a little reluctant to go to a boat mechanic without some idea of what might need to be done.
I am fairly mechanically inclined, but know very little about boats ... so I hate to get taken advantage of.

Thanks
Dave
