Re: Mariah Z302 Owner
Yea thats sounds like you got a monster when your on the road....I'm not sure when I'm taking mine out of the water just yet, since the guy I bought it from is letting me use his slip for a few months. However I will probably want to take it to larger bodies of water pretty soon so I can stretch her legs a bit.

I know I'm chiming in late here, been hunting down a new pony to pull mine.
Welcome aboard Howard, you will love the new ride on big water! We live in NE Okla. and play on many different lakes but my fav. is the bigger lakes like Grand Lake. About your weight towing Like Steve said your 5600-5800# dry add 125gals in gas = appox. 1k#, water in tanks and the most important the cooler full of your choice of beverage your push 7000# add the weight of a steel tri axle trailer your 8500# in rolling weight. which pushs me way passed my total GVWR, which is why i just stepped up to a 3500 cummins this week old truck was 2500HD chevy but 6.0 gas pulled ok just did it at 5.2 mpg and hitting to water 2 or 3 times a week it cuts into the boat budget to deep. truck stopped the boat great but i also changed all the trailer braking system first of summer to disc on all 3 axles over kill i know but hate the oh shoot this is going to hurt feeling as your being pushed into something |
