Mariah Z302 Owner

By the end of the day today I will own my first ever Mariah. It's a really cool 30' boat with a walk thru center cabin with a bow rider. It is a 2000 model.....[email protected]

Welcome aboard! You dont really need to use photobucket unless you want to. When you are creating a post and want to add a photo or two or three, just scroll down the screen and note the button for "manage attachments" & then click on it. You can then choose a file(pic) from your computer and upload it to our site. Hit "Choose a File" then decide on what pic you want & hit enter or double click & then hit "Upload". You can do more than one pic but do them one at a time. Your pic(s) will then be added to your post.

It worked. Beautiful boat! Enjoy her.

Re: Mariah Z302 Owner

Thanks I sure hope too...It was in really exceptional condition with a new Jasper engine. All I can see that it needs is a better sound system and some of the digital gauges have a few missing lights. Hopefully gauges can be found and changed out with new ones.

See Ya

!!!!!!Mariah Z302 Mid-Cabin!!!!!!

See if that works?

Also any idea what the boat with a three axle loadmaster trailer might weigh? I have a new land rover Range Rover Supercharged and the book says I can tow up to 78000....

Oregondunes 09-13-2012 10:17 PM

Re: Mariah Z302 Owner

I think the boat alone is 5800.

Ok thanks

I bet you'd be close to the max. The trailer should show its weight too so you could add the numbers. Biggest thing to remember is most vehicles can tow something just fine.....its the stopping that's the issue. I stupidly pulled things way too heavy several times in my younger days and had the fun feeling of being pushed by the trailer. Its a really weird feeling. :) Oh to be young and dumb again, well, young at least, still dumb lol.

I pull ours on a triple axle prestige with our Ford Excursion Diesel. It does just fine, granted it's the longest/ biggest/heaviest (9350 with me in it and a full tank of fuel) SUV on the planet.

Re: Mariah Z302 Owner

Yea thats sounds like you got a monster when your on the road....I'm not sure when I'm taking mine out of the water just yet, since the guy I bought it from is letting me use his slip for a few months. However I will probably want to take it to larger bodies of water pretty soon so I can stretch her legs a bit.

bigger the water the better it is

I know I'm chiming in late here, been hunting down a new pony to pull mine.
Welcome aboard Howard, you will love the new ride on big water! We live in NE Okla. and play on many different lakes
but my fav. is the bigger lakes like Grand Lake.

About your weight towing Like Steve said your 5600-5800# dry add 125gals in gas = appox. 1k#, water in tanks and the most important the cooler full of your choice of beverage your push 7000# add the weight of a steel tri axle trailer your 8500# in rolling weight. which pushs me way passed my total GVWR, which is why i just stepped up to a 3500 cummins this week old truck was 2500HD chevy but 6.0 gas pulled ok just did it at 5.2 mpg and hitting to water 2 or 3 times a week it cuts into the boat budget to deep. truck stopped the boat great but i also changed all the trailer braking system first of summer to disc on all 3 axles over kill i know but hate the oh shoot this is going to hurt feeling as your being pushed into something
